Thursday: "Lord, Is It I?" A Living Dramatization of Leonardo da Vinci's Painting, "The Last Supper" @ 7:00 pm
The United Methodist Church will be presenting will be presenting a very special drama entitled, "Lord, is It I?" The play is set in the Upper Room as Leornardo daVinci portrayed it in his painting, "The Last Supper". This will be the sixth year that the men of the church have presented this inspiring event. This dramatic event is free and open to the public. You will see and hear what may have been going through the minds of the disciples during the Passover Meal. Please join us for this wonderful play. What a marvelous way to begin your preparations to celebrate Easter! The Owego United Methodist Church is located at 261 Main Street in owego, NY. It is handicap accessible through the Fellowship Hall. worship services are on Sunday at 8:15a.m. and 10:30a.m. Children and adult Sunday School is at 9:00a.m. Come worship with us.

Tuesday: Chenango County's Annual Spring College Day @ 10:45-2PM
The Chenango County School Counselor Association is sponsering its Annual Spring College Day on April 7th at the YMCA, 68-70 North Broad St, Norwich, NY. Representatives from around 40 colleges, as well as, armed services representatives will be present. This is a great opportunity to learn more about college offerings and admission requirements. Parents, students and community members are encouraged to attend this free event.

Friday: Vestal Knights of Columbus Fish Fry @ 11am-6pm
The Vestal Knights of Columbus Council #4746 will sponser Doug's Fish Fry at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 801 Main St., Vestal, to raise money to suport its charitable fund for community activities. Take out is avaliable as well as limited seating in the Cafe in the gymnasium.

Saturday: TCRM Spring Clean-Up Day Is Scheduled @ 10AM - 4PM
Here we are in the middle of this frigid winter and we at Tioga County Rural Ministry are encouraging you to "Think Spring!" What can we say-"We're optimists here!" If you are 65 and live in the town of Owego, college and high school students are happy to assist with yard work, window washing and interior cleaning. Please note the new date is April 11th. We want to give the snow a little more time to melt! Please call early;it facilitates our planning. If you, your relatives or friends could use some free labor, give Sr. Mary a call at 687-3021 and we'll be delighted to add you to our list.

Saturday: American Red Cross Offers Babysitter's Training @ 9AM-4PM
The American red Cross of the Southern Tier will host a Babysitter's Training class for youth ages 11 to 15 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Red Cross office at 620 E. Main St., Endicott. Babysitting is often a teenager's first business. Babysitter's Training form the American Red Cross builds confidence to hold, feed, and care for infants and toddlers, work with children safely, and deal with emergencies. It also teaches lifelong entrepreneurial and career development skills. The fun, fast-paced classes includes hands-on activities, videos, role-plays, take-home training materials, and discussion that will teach the teenager how to: *Perform basic child-care skills such as diapering and feeding. *Choose age-appropriate games and toys. *Handle bedtime and disciplinary issues. *Identify safety hazards and prevent injuries, and care for common injuries and emergencies. *Communicate effectively with parents. *Find and interview for babysitting jobs. The cost of the class is $85.00, which includes a Babysitter's Training Certificate from the American red Cross, handbook and CD ROM. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch. Saturday: Common Threads Quilters' Guild - Quilt Show 2015 @ 10:00am - 6:00pm
Common Threads Quilters' Guild is hosting their 2015 Quilt Show. The show will run on Saturday May 2nd from 10am to 6pm and Sunday May 3rd from 10am to 4pm at the Western Broome County Senior Center at 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell, NY. Joining us this year are the members of the BC Stitchers Embroidery Guild. Our featured quilt is "Common Friendships" made by our guild members. It is based on our "Common Bride" pattern by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts who has graciously given us permission to use it. The quilt will be raffled off at the end of the show and winner need not be present to win. Tickets can purchased from any guild member and at the show. Half of the priceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will be donated by S.T.A.T. (Southern Tier Alternative Therapies) for Fargnoli Farm's riding program for autistic children and teens. There will be over 100 quilts on display (including the traveling Storybrook Quilts made by Court House Quilters of New Jersey), a vendors mall dedicated to fabrics and sewing notions and Common Threads Boutique that will have items made by guild members for sale. Sunday: "Out Over 50" picnic
The Binghamton City Schools Alumni Association will be holding its seventh annual "Out Over 50" picnic this July. The event was started in 2009 as a reunion for all those who have been out of high school been for over 50 years. We mail out information to several thousand alumni. The event is also used to raised money for annual scholarship awards.This coming June, we will award four $500 scholarships to graduating BHS seniors. Twelve scholarships of $500 each have been given out over the past 4 years. We would like to give you the opportunity to be part of our celebration. Become a sponsor and help keep the cost of the picnic affordable for all to attend. You generosity will be acknowledged in the picnic program and the Alumni Association's newsletter. Donations of $100 or more will be listed as Sponsors. Donations of less than $100 will be listed as Patrons. You are also welcome to provide us with a banner sign to be displayed at the picnic. This year's picnic is July 26 and to ensure your name is in the program, we would appreciate receiving your gift by June 30. Checks should be made payable to Binghamton City Schools Alumni Association and mailed to Sandy Ferrante, 55 Gaylord St., Binghamton, NY 13904.
