|Saturday: Do you need help with Spring Cleaning?
If you are 65 years of age or older, live in Owego or Apalachin, and you're available on March 29th, you qualify for help with your spring cleaning. Binghamton University students will be on hand to help with window washing, interior house cleaning, and yard work. To sign up, please contact Sr. Mary at the Tioga County Rural Ministry at 687-3021. The deadline date to sign up is March 21st.

On March 29, the Binghamton Philharmonic will present Requiem for a Magical America by Frank, Hansons Piano Concerto in G major featuring guest artist William Wolfram and Symphony No. 7 by Prokofiev in Lyrical Last Words. Celebrating 59 years of high quality professional music, the Binghamton Philharmonic continues to promote talented guest artists and emotionally moving pieces. We are here to enrich the lives of the community by demonstrating orchestral talent unseen anywhere else.
Prior to the concert, all ticket holders are invited to join Dr. Barbara Renton and Mr. Wolfram for an engaging talk about the music selections. "Opening Notes" is an informal discussion about the evenings program starting at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium and is free to the audience. Program notes are sponsored by Price Choppers Golub Foundation.

The Dougs Fish Fry fundraiser on April 5 at the Toys R Us parking lot in Johnson City, to benefit the Stuart Naismith Memorial Peacemaker Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded to a student at Chenango Forks and Chenango Valley.

Lillyanna was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a congenital heart defect where the left side of the heart does not fully develop. A baby born with HLHS requires 3 separate surgeries to modify the blood circulation.
HLHS is the #1 killer of children, even over cancer.
Money raised will go to Lillyanna's family to help cover expenses associated with her monthly doctor visits to Syracuse.
