Saturday: K9's for a Cure. Dog Walk/5K Run @ 9:00am
Every Dog's Dream Rescue is sponsoring the Dog Walk/5K Run at teh Vestal Cal House the last Saturday in May. Race day registration: 9:00 am 5K Starts at 10:00 am Dog Walk Starts at 11:15 am Dog Walk Donations: $10 5K Run Donations: $12 Dog's: Bring Current Rabies certificate to registration (can not accept tag only). Must be OK around peopel and dogs. All funds raised donated to pet cancer research via blue buffalo foundation for cancer research. Saturday: Every Dog's Dream Pet Rescue Run/Walk @ 9a
Every Dog's Dream pet Rescue is sponsoring a 5k run/ dog walk on Saturday May 30th. Location Vestal Coal House and Rail Trail. Runner registration at $12.00 and begins at 9 am, race at 10 am. Walker registration begins at 10am, walk at 11:15 am. Dog walkers need to bring a proof of current rabies vaccination in form or a certificate and not a tag. All money raised is going to Pet Cancer Research.

Sunday: Benefit for Caleb Munn @ 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Benefit for Caleb Munn first Sunday in June at Country Pines, 1660 State Route 26, Endicott, NY. Caleb was born with a rare liver disease. He is in need of a liver transplant. the Munn Family needs your support to ensure Cleo's medical needs. Tickets are $15 on advance and $20 at the door. Children under 4 are FREE. Includes chicken dinner and beverage. Cash bar is available. Bounce house & entertainment for kids. Bake sale, basket raffles & Live Entertainment with "Driven" & "A Country Mile". Sunday: Mercy House of the Southern Tier Hospice Care
Mercy House of the Southern Tier, formerly Saint Casimir's Church, in Endicott, will be a community care shelter for the terminally ill. Mercy House's mission is to be a warm, loving, homelike environment for those nearing the end of life. Mercy House offers 24 hour hospice compassionate care with open visiting hours for family & friends. mercy House is seeking community support fund this important undertaking. A captain and crew, charity golf tournament is scheduled for Sunday, June 7th. Sponsorship opportunities are available to businesses. For more information call Tony Delnero at 748-0131

Sunday: 4th Annual Why Not Tri Triathlon at JCC @ 9a
The JCC will hold it's 4th Annual Super Sprint Triathlon for teens and adults on the first Sunday in June. The event will be held at the JCC, 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal. Participants can enter individually, or as a team of three. The event is open to the entire community and will include a swim portion (225 Yards), a bike portion (5 Miles) and a run (2 Miles). Entry Fee: $30 Individul/$75 Relay Team. Checks payable to "JCC". Interested people can download a registration form at http://binghamtonjcc.org/triathlon/ or contact the JCC at 607-724-1417. Sunday: "Out Over 50" picnic
The Binghamton City Schools Alumni Association will be holding its seventh annual "Out Over 50" picnic this July. The event was started in 2009 as a reunion for all those who have been out of high school been for over 50 years. We mail out information to several thousand alumni. The event is also used to raised money for annual scholarship awards.This coming June, we will award four $500 scholarships to graduating BHS seniors. Twelve scholarships of $500 each have been given out over the past 4 years. We would like to give you the opportunity to be part of our celebration. Become a sponsor and help keep the cost of the picnic affordable for all to attend. You generosity will be acknowledged in the picnic program and the Alumni Association's newsletter. Donations of $100 or more will be listed as Sponsors. Donations of less than $100 will be listed as Patrons. You are also welcome to provide us with a banner sign to be displayed at the picnic. This year's picnic is July 26 and to ensure your name is in the program, we would appreciate receiving your gift by June 30. Checks should be made payable to Binghamton City Schools Alumni Association and mailed to Sandy Ferrante, 55 Gaylord St., Binghamton, NY 13904.
