|Thursday: Daughters of the Nile Paddle Party @ 7:00 pm
The Daughters of the Nile is having a paddle party on Thursday March 5th. It will be held at Kalurah Shrine Center located at 625 Dickson Street, Endicott, NY.
Preview at 6:15, party is at 7PM. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation. Admission is $5. There will also be beverages and baked goods for sale.
|Saturday: Annual Hunter Heritage Banquet @ 5-6pm
The NYS Southern Tier Local Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is holding its Annual Hunter Heritage Banquet at The Owego Treadway Inn in Owego, NY. The doors will be opening at 5pm and Social Hour until 6 which will be followed by Dinner.

|Saturday: Humane Society's Annual Casino Night @ 6:00pm - 11:00pm
The Humane Society will be holding its Annual Casino Night at the Knights of Columbus in Binghamton at 136 Park Avenue. Tickets are $5 a person and will include your first beer/soda.
Tickets can be puchased in advance at 2 Jackson St in Binghamton or at the door the night of the event.
Games will include Black Jack, Best Poker Hand, Big Six Wheel and 7 over/under. In addition there will be Basket Raffles, 50/50 Raffles, Music from DJ Triple T, Cash Bar and Food. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to enter.

|Saturday: Chicken and Biscuit Dinner @ 4:30p
The Kirkwood Methodist Church located at 255 Main Street, Kirkwood, NY will be having a Chicken and Biscuit dinner. There will be serving family style chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, cole slaw and home made pie. Beverages included.
Seatings at 4:30 and 5:30PM.
$9.00 for adults, $5.00 for children and undre 5 is free.
|Saturday: Toy and Collectible Show Fundraiser for the Humane Society @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Support The Humane Society by attending a Toy and Collectible Show. This event will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the American Legion Post 1645, 177 Robinson St, Binghamton 13904.
Admission to the show is only $3; children under 12 are free with an adult. At the event, there will be vintage toys, trains, dolls, plastic models, die cast, and other collectibles.
Tables are $20 and can be reserved by making checks payable to The Humane Society. Table requests can be mailed to Rick Barron, 94 Albany Avenue, Johnson City, NY 13790.
All proceeds from this event are to benefit The Humane Society towards the care of animals in their shelter while working to find them permanent, loving homes as well as their mission towards the prevention of animal cruelty and abuse.

|Saturday: Derrick's Kidney Palooza-a day of music, food games, fun, education & more! @ 1-8pm
A fundraiser for Derrick Leuci will be held Saturday March 28th at the Vestal American Legion, Jensen Road, Vestal. All proceeds to go tro Derrick, who is suffering from end stage renal disease and is in dire need of a kidney transplant. Tickets RE $10 and can be purchased by calling (607)-765-3912 or at the door.
|Saturday: Common Threads Quilters' Guild - Quilt Show 2015 @ 10:00am - 6:00pm
Common Threads Quilters' Guild is hosting their 2015 Quilt Show.
The show will run on Saturday May 2nd from 10am to 6pm and Sunday May 3rd from 10am to 4pm at the Western Broome County Senior Center at 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell, NY.
Joining us this year are the members of the BC Stitchers Embroidery Guild. Our featured quilt is "Common Friendships" made by our guild members. It is based on our "Common Bride" pattern by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts who has graciously given us permission to use it. The quilt will be raffled off at the end of the show and winner need not be present to win. Tickets can purchased from any guild member and at the show. Half of the priceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will be donated by S.T.A.T. (Southern Tier Alternative Therapies) for Fargnoli Farm's riding program for autistic children and teens.
There will be over 100 quilts on display (including the traveling Storybrook Quilts made by Court House Quilters of New Jersey), a vendors mall dedicated to fabrics and sewing notions and Common Threads Boutique that will have items made by guild members for sale.
